EcoView was specifically designed with ease and speed of installation in mind. Since all devices in the EcoView ecosystem communicate wirelessly there is no need to pull new wires throughout a facility. This reduces system installation time greatly and minimizes overall disruption to critical services such as HVAC and lighting. The use of split-core current sensors on the EcoView Resource Meter means that building power mains need never be disconnected during installation.
Establishing Internet connectivity is a particularly straightforward process. The EcoView Touchscreen can be addressed using DHCP or can be assigned a static IP address. In either case, no additional network configuration is necessary – the EcoView Touchscreen will automatically establish a secure connection with the EcoView Internet Server System.
